Asia Rugby is thrilled to announce the appointment of Peter Hudson to the role of Match Official Performance Panel Coach. With a robust background in rugby officiating and coaching, coupled with a wealth of experience in operational safety and risk management from his aviation career, Peter is poised to bring valuable insights and improvements to our officiating team.
In his new role, Peter will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive review platform, developing innovative performance structures, and managing feedback processes to enhance the performance of match officials.
He will liaise with teams, support the Talent Optimisation process, and assist in the selection and appointment of officials for various competitions. Additionally, Peter will organise training sessions and support the Match Officials Manager at events.
Peter’s professional history is distinguished by his extensive experience in both rugby and aviation. He has held significant positions such as commercial pilot as well as manager of Flight Safety, Operational Risk, and Flight Training
