Excitement is building as the Asia Rugby U20 Men’s and Women’s Sevens tournament, hosted by the Nepal Rugby Association, draws near.
The prestigious event, scheduled for August 19-20 in the picturesque valley of Kathmandu, is set to showcase the rising stars of rugby from across the continent. A team of experienced match officials has been announced.
The final list of appointed match officials includes two referees from Hong Kong China – Lee Chui Yan and Aggie Poon, joining them from Japan are Koki Yamauchi and Hibiki Ikeda, representing Singapore in the officiating team is James Grant Perry.
Greg Hinton from Mongolia s and has been appointed as the Performance Reviewer. His valuable feedback will contribute to the ongoing development of the referees, promoting excellence and consistency in their decision-making. Additionally, Gabriel Lee from Hong Kong China and Sourojit Ghosh from India will serve as the Coach of Match Officials.
To uphold the principles of fair play and discipline, Shahid Sangani has been appointed as the Judicial Officer.
Chris Galea from Singapore will take on the crucial responsibility of Citing Commissioner.
