Jaesub Choi has been co-opted by Asia Rugby to fill a casual vacancy on the Executive Committee; he will take over the role with immediate effect.
Mr Jaesub Choi said, “This is my great honor to be appointed as an EXCO member of Asia Rugby. I know what member unions expect me to do and what I need to do”
He added “I would like to express my gratitude to President Qais Al Dhalai and everyone involved for the support. We can do better but TOGETHER”

Mr Choi, who is Vice President of the South Korea Rugby Union, is not new to the Executive Committee having served as an EXCO member from 2015-2017.
He is a former South Korea national team player, has a PhD in Physical Education (Sport Psychology) from Yonsei University in Seoul. At the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, Mr Choi was the International Relations Manager for the Rugby Sevens event,
