Keeping true to their vision of growing game to a greater audience within the country the Bangladesh RFU successfully conducted a 3 day Rugby Training and Education camp in the capital city of Dhaka.
The 3–day camp saw 31 District officers from all over the country.
Bangladesh Rugby Hosted the following Workshops
- Rugby Ready
- Coaching Children
- Child Protection & safeguarding
- Club management
- Basic First Aid
- Strength & Conditioning.
Bangladesh RFU took up the responsibility of providing transportation, accommodation and Food of all the participants & facilitators they also provided them with training gear including Covid-19 precaution kits,

At the End of course the participants were also issued completion certificate for the program.
In addition, a total of 3100 face masks were handed over to the participants for them to further distributed in their respective districts on their return.
Bangladesh Rugby is planning to host an under-17 rugby competition which will be held in districts in the last week of December.
Mousem Ali, Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby stated: “This is our initiative to grow the game into each and every district in Bangladesh.”.
The course was headed by World Rugby Educator Mahfizul Islam and WR Level 2 Coach Nazmus Sakib Shovon with support from S&C coach Nahid Tangil , S.H Addra and Wasti Afzal also assisted.
Mahfizul Islam, who is also the CEO of Bangladesh Rugby said: “For me, strong development means we make sure we cover the whole country.”
He further added “We tried to build the communication skill of the participants so that they can pass on the knowledge and experience in their districts”

With an enthusiastic team handling the activities, the future is certainly looking bright for Bangladesh Rugby.
