Following Asia Rugby decision on the 6-Apr-2020 to keep monitoring the global health situation to reach a solid decision whether to retain or cancel all Asia Rugby competitions scheduled from 1-7-2020 to 31-12-2020 in response to global health situation caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Asia Rugby is consistently working with its Players Welfare and Medical Committee and relevant stakeholders and monitoring the global health situation in close collaboration with World Rugby
Asia Rugby maintains its focus on Player Welfare as well as towards all those involved in our regional organisation.
To this regard, and after seeking advice and consultation from Asia Rugby’s Players Welfare and Medical Committee and other relevant stakeholders, Asia Rugby defers its decision to the end of May 2020 and will provide an update related to competitions scheduled originally during the second half of 2020.
