The 3rd Asia Rugby Exco of 2019 was held in Beirut, West Asia, on Saturday 7th September
Unfortunately, due to the processing period required by the Immigration authorities in Lebanon, it was not possible for certain members of the Exco to receive their visas in time for the meeting; something that was not expected.
The meeting, however, was still able to proceed by making use of VOIP (Skype).
As a result of the success of this arrangement, Exco members concluded that in the future, where appropriate, some Exco meetings could be successfully undertaken by using Skype/equivalent (as is the current practice for our sub-committees) and which should result in cost savings.
