Asia Rugby President Aga Hussain said: “Once again December sees our annual Asia Rugby Under 19 Championship tournament – this year in Chinese Taipei – to decide who will compete in the World Rugby Junior Trophy next year,
whilst our Division 1 tournament in Thailand will precede Asia Rugby’s 50th Anniversary celebrations in Bangkok on 15 December.
These competitions are the pinnacle teenage 15-a-side opportunity for most of the players and team management involved and we are always excited to see their development as they move into adult rugby, to be future peer role models at that level.
I wish all 8 squads the best of luck as they bring down the curtain on an enthralling, entertaining and productive season, in this 50th year of our inception.”
