Forty delegates from 12 member unions are at the Ryutsu Keizai University in Ibaraki, outside Tokyo this week for Asia Rugby’s 3rd, annual Performance Development Workshop.
The majority are Trainers & Educators from the World Rugby / Asia Rugby Training & Education Workforce.
They will take key learning back to their unions and help to further up-skill the overall Asia region workforce of over 157,000.
Keynote presentations each morning set the tone for discussions on matters such as Domestic Match Officiating Development Pathways; potential ideas for World Rugby’s Get Into Rugby programme; Asia Rugby’s Game Management Guidelines for 2017 and latest trends in the Game, in particular in the area of Strength & Conditioning.
